KEMI AFESOJAYE

Kemi is a commercially aware legal practitioner who has spent over a decade in active legal practice, with a passion for proffering innovative solutions to meet clients’ needs.

Since her call to Nigerian Bar in 2009, Kemi has been active in the dispute resolution industry, representing corporate entities and individuals, over a wide range of subject matter before courts of first instance and appellate courts in Nigeria.

In the course of her career, Kemi has acted as advocate in disputes involving; employer- employee relations, divorce, child custody and property settlement, title to land, commercial transactions, election matters, debt recovery, recovery of possession, chieftaincy matters, public interest etc.

With deep seated knowledge of litigation practice and procedure, Kemi is skilled in issue identification, drafting of pleadings and arguments, evidence evaluation, case presentation, negotiating settlements, client and stakeholder management and court room advocacy.

Kemi is an effective communicator and result-oriented individual. She is also a trained mediator and arbitrator. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and Masters’ Degree (Distinction) in Dispute Resolution both from the prestigious University of Lagos.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K.).
